如何让人们重返办公室.pdf

How we think about going into the office has changed forever.Flexible, hybrid and remotework approaches are often at odds with executive desire for a return to the traditionalworkplaces, and so far, there’s no clear winner. One thing that we do know is that theoffice still serves an important purpose -for collaboration, mentorship, productivity, friendship, executive facetime and more.

Over the past year,we’ve looked closely at the office -how perks have changed, how GenZworks best in the office and how companies are adjusting their realestate footprint toaccount for hybrid and remote work. With RTO foot traffic at an all-time high,we set out todiscover what makes employees want to come into the office.

Are free lunches and commute stipends still the way to go?Or do employees want toexperience the less tangible things we don’t think of as often -like facetime with theirmanagers or watercooler chats with their workplace bestie?

To answer these questions and more,we polled 380 full time workers to find out whetherincentives -like free lunch and parking -trump personal experiences.

Here’s what we found out:

·Employees LIKE the Office:The office space has been a divisive topic but we found whilesome employees prefer to work from home, the majority of those we surveyed enjoy theirtime spent in the office.

·Perks Will Work but They Aren’t Everything:Free lunches, parking and commuting stipendsincentivize workers to go into the office but so do other intangible things -like one-on-oneopportunities with executives, team brainstorms and the chance to socialize with coworkers.

·Remote Work Pay Cuts May Cost You:While 58%said they’d go into the office morefrequently to avoid a pay cut, more than 25%said they’d quickly look for another job.

·Office Attendance Visibility is Key:When asked whether knowing a team would be in theoffice on a particular day made it more likely for the employee to go in,64%said it did andonly 12%disagreed.
