2024年，习近平主席亲自擘画、亲身参与，把中国的“安全观”“发展观”“文明观”“治理观”带到五大洲，促进中外文化交流前所未有地蓬勃发展。系列全球倡议引领中外文化交流实践，推动营造和平稳定的国际环境、夯实文化互信的发展根基、促进人文交流在传承创新中日益繁盛。
In 2024,President Xi Jinping presented China’s vision onsecurity,development,civilization and governance to the fivecontinents,boosting unprecedented cultural exchanges betweenChina and other countries.These initiatives provide guidance tocultural exchanges between China and other countries,helpcreate a peaceful and stable international environment,lay asolid foundation for cultural mutual trust,and facilitat morevibrant people-to-people exchanges through culturalpreservation and innovation.
元首外交奠定全球文明对话总基调。2024年，“文明”是中国元首外交的一个关键词。从双边到多边、从区域到全球，包括在同法国总统马克龙会晤时，在同意大利总统马塔雷拉共同会见出席中意文化合作机制大会和中意大学校长对话会的双方代表时，在和平共处五项原则发表70周年纪念大会上，在出席金砖国家领导人第十六次会晤时，习近平主席高频次阐释新时代中国文明观。习近平主席亲力亲为，推动文明交流互鉴走深、走实：向首届世界古典学大会、2024世界中文大会、2024中国“哈萨克斯坦旅游年”开幕式等分别致贺信，出席“中俄文化年”开幕式暨庆祝中俄建交75周年专场音乐会并致辞，与意大利总统马塔雷拉共同赏鉴意大利查获并返还中方的中国流失文物，为“中国·唐———个多元开放的朝代(7至10世纪)”展览作序，倡导设立“全球文明倡议中国—阿拉伯中心”,与非洲携手推进“文明互鉴伙伴行动”“人文交流伙伴行动”,与南非总统见证签署关于加强文化遗产领域交流双边合作文件等等。习近平主席的元首外交活动为全年文化交流定下“平等、互鉴、对话、包容”的总基调，习近平主席亲自推进的一系列重大举措让践行全球文明倡议有了更多务实的落脚点，近百封贺信复信贺电把文明交流做到“民心末梢”。
